Motivational Interviewing
We offer training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) for professionals working with high-risk youth and adults. MI was developed to enhance intrinsic motivation and to engage clients in the change process. Research supports the use of MI to enhance staff proficiency in working with clients who are unwilling or unable to change.
Our approach to teaching MI is to develop and provide customized training and coaching to support MI applications across different professional groups such as probation and parole, correctional officers, case workers, and counselors.
Our staff are registered with the MI Network of Trainers and we are experienced in using the techniques with high-risk clients.
If you would like further information on our MI training, please contact us.
