Orbis Partners Inc. provides solutions for the helping professions, specializing in designing and implementing evidence-based services for at-risk and high-risk client groups. Our services include assessment, programs, case work training and research and evaluation. We’ve implemented our solutions for many jurisdictions across the United States, Canada and internationally.
 
Our assessment tools help you develop and monitor strategies for encouraging positive change. They assess risk, needs and strengths in criminal justice populations, specifically for adults and youth with a special assessment protocol for women. Our assessment tools include the Youth Assessment and Screening Instrument (YASI™); Service Planning Instrument (SPIn™); Service Planning Instrument for Women (SPIn-W™); and CaseWorks™ Software Suite.
 
We’ve based all our programs on cognitive behavioral principles, offering officer training, behavioral change programs, motivational interviewing (MI), and gender-responsive programs.
 
Through our in-house research capabilities, we ensure optimal performance of our products and services. Our tools have been validated in a variety of settings: in rural and urban jurisdictions, for males and females, and in community and custody settings such as New York State Probation, California CDCR/DJJ, Illinois AOIC, Illinois DHS, and Alberta SGPS.
 
We’ve many years of experience working for governments and with not-for-profit service organizations as well as delivering services as private sector consultants. We can support you with innovative tools such as case work software, in-depth training, technical support, and specialized workshops designed for managers and supervisors engaged in the challenging work of managing change.
 
We’ve more than 25 years of operational experience. Our state-of-the-art web-based software is in its second generation, and we’ve deployed it internationally and in over 30 states and provinces in North America.
